It all began with a swipe on a dating app, pasta at a local Italian restaurant, and a girl looking for love but had expected disappointment yet again. Robert defied expectations and showed up and continues to show up for me with care, support, and words of affirmation on a daily basis. We strive to show love, make an impact on the lives of others, and take care of each other in a world where care for one another is so needed. From day one, my dreams were his and his were mine.

My favorite memory as a couple has to be when we were first dating, he showed compassion, and a personality that was so unafraid of loving others. We went to the fairgrounds with my sister and niece, who has physical disabilities. On fair grounds, it is uneven walking, and is hard to push a wheelchair. Robert stepped up without asking and pushed my niece around the entire night, carrying her on and off of fair rides. His love for my family caught my heart forever.
