Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in a Facebook group while Rachael was living in Florida and I, San Diego. It was a body positivity group, so people would post pics and we would all gas each other up. We quickly became friends and after 4 months of talking for at least 10 hours a day, she moved to San Diego and that's where our journey started. Afyer a few years in SD we decided to move to WA and are currently here for the next few years before we decide to head out to Florida to be closer with Rachaels family.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first camping trip. I used to be a big home body, but covid changed that. I always hated camping, but I needed to get away from the city. We found a nice remote spot far away from civilization and we just spent the weekend with just us. I'm not religious per say, but that weekend I was able to see what heaven was like. When my time comes, it will just be me and my wife sitting by the camp fire, listening to On Melancholy Hill by the Gorillaz as we fade into eternity, together.

What would you do with $20,000?

After 4 years of trying and many complications, we are currently 10 weeks pregnant! That money would help with: the baby, our move to FL, and probably to help us get back into the trailer life. We lived in a trailer when we first moved to WA and we really liked it, but our trailer also had everything we owned in it. It was like living in a storage container with a sink and a toilet. A nicer trailer would help when we are ready to move.
