We met for a “not a date” coffee in early sobriety and trauma-bonded HARD. Eight years later still sober and still madly in love!
We would like to thank you for supporting RaBeahens in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love story began my very first day of treatment. I walked in and they told me that there was an LGBTQIA+ meeting in Minneapolis. I chose to go to see what it was all about. He was a greeter at the meeting and I remember thinking he is really hot. We ended up setting our first date after my plans fell through to go to Las Vegas and his plans fell through to go back to New York. We went to have coffee at a spy house. We spent the better part of 3 1/2 hours telling each other our stories
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory is when we traveled to New York City recently, seeing five Broadway shows in five days. It was absolutely incredible. Being able to reconnect with friends and being able to see oh Mary with the original cast, outsiders, Sunset Boulevard, Gatsby, and the cursed child.
What would you do with $20,000?If we were to win $20,000, we would put it towards a down payment on our first house or using it to relocate to a brand new city! Maybe even New York City! It would definitely be a life changer for sure!
