We had had a mutual friend for years and finally met at that friend’s Halloween-themed 30th birthday party. Stephanie was wearing a masquerade mask, and Quinn’s face was caked in zombie makeup. But, we ended up hitting it off. We talked all night, danced together, and were inseparable the rest of the night. We exchanged phone numbers the next morning and haven’t gone a day without speaking since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It is so difficult to choose one memory. We had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live abroad in London for five months when Quinn was finishing his last semester in law school. One of our favorite memories from this time is touring the Tower of London. Our tour guide was hilarious, Quinn took DOZENS of photos of crows (“crows are great” -Quinn), and he slipped spectacularly on the stone stairs, nearly breaking himself and our digital camera. We always laugh when recalling this day.
What would you do with $20,000?We have a dream of owning a business together. We would love to open a London-style afternoon tea shop in our community where we can host children’s birthday parties, second dates, engagement parties, 50th anniversary parties, and everything in between. $20,000 would be a great help to making this dream become a reality!
