My daughter pushed me to go out with him when I said I didn't want to date anymore because she knew he liked me for years. He called me out of the blue, and while we were talking about music he bought tickets for about 4 months out. Our first date was the chance he'd been waiting for. It was perfect and old fashioned. Flowers in the truck seat, dinner and an amazing concert. It felt so comfortable, like I found a home and he felt the same. Hadn't looked back since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The first time we sat on the porch together. He put my legs over his lap and we talked for a few hours while he smoked his cigar. To us, it felt like we had done it a million times before. Made it even more apparent, we were meant to be.
What would you do with $20,000?I believe we would put it down on a house so we can stop this long distance love. One of the goals when we started getting serious was to start building a life we both would love, together. Our own home would be just the fresh new chapter we have both been wanting and needing in our lives for quite some time now.
