Connect How did your love story begin?

Phil and I met at a backyard punk show after his band played. It was funny because our eyes locked multiple times throughout the evening & I can speak for both of us when I say we were very intrigued by one another. We were magnetic. After talking throughout the evening, we decided to hang out later that week. After that we spent every day together and I moved in three months after. We have been inseparable since. We say the same things at the same time, think the same. We are truly connected.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

All of them are my favorite. But the one that comes to mind is a tour we did for Phils band through Joshua Tree. We got to take our first road trip together and it was magical. As I have said we are connected before, during this time we truly learned we have the same interests and just had so much carefree fun. When Phil and I are together it feels like we are youthful, laughing uncontrollably, listening to our favorite bands, and going on wild adventures together.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, it would go towards our family and community. I would love to take a family trip with our two kids, and use some of the money for our garden we are creating as a family to grow our own food. We are involved in the music scene, surrounded by creatives, so helping our friends that own small venues if they need during this time is important. $20,000 would be used however it can to better our lives and our communities.
