We make each other laugh and we have common values. Married 26 years. Our youngest son is severely autistic and is the boss of the house.
We would like to thank you for supporting Peter and Linda in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I didn’t like Peter when I first met him. We met through friends when we were 16. I thought he was immature, spoiled & too much of an extrovert. He joined the military at 18 & we started writing letters to each other. Then, he started using calling cards to call me. I enjoyed our conversations & would get sad when the time would end on the calling card. When he was on leave, we kissed for the first time & then dated. Our date was the movie Mulan & he sang to me the song “Girl Worth Fighting For”
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memories is when we went to go get our marriage license at the library. The librarian offered to marry us then and there. We had a church wedding planned four days later but we both decided that we should just get married then. We were in our t-shirts and jeans, no pictures, no family and friends… just us. It was perfect. We did not have our rings with us so the librarian offered for us to exchange his mood ring. His mood ring was the ring we used to exchange our vows.
What would you do with $20,000?We would go on an adventure. We like to travel and reconnect as a couple when we can.
