Connect How did your love story begin?

We met through a dating app and texted for a few weeks to get to know each other before we met in person and everything just clicked. We didn’t know what we were looking for, but it was as if we were meant to be. There was a night early in the relationship when we were in my pool, just relaxing together. We held each other and talked for hours. Looking back, it was that moment, we knew that we found something special. Neither of us said it, but it was that moment when we fell in love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of the first things we bonded over was our love of Disney World. Our first trip together to Disney was in 2021 and it was everything we could have hoped it would be. We got to share each other’s favorite things about the parks from the past and create wonderful new memories together. Walking down Main Street USA hand in hand was something I will never forget. We tried new restaurants that neither of us had been to before so that the experience would be uniquely ours.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’ve always talked about spending two weeks in Italy touring all of the major cities by train. We did not think something like this would be possible until after we retire, but $20,000 would go a long way toward making our dream vacation a reality. We want to see all of the major sites, but most importantly, we want to go to places where tourists do not usually go. Restaurants where only the locals go, etc. so some of this money would go to a vacation planner who can help make that happen.
