I fell in love with my husband when I saw how he treated a good friend of his who worked with him and was battling brain cancer. His friend was not able to drive and Perry drove over 10 miles each way to pick him up for work and take him home each night. He prepared favorite dishes for him and took him grocery shopping and out to eat. When I saw what wonderful care he provided for a friend, I knew he was a special person, one I wanted to keep in my life for a long as I lived.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For many years, we traveled throughout America with our grandchildren. We took them to national parks and historical sites, as well as shared a boat full of ice cream of every flavor in so many states! We wouldn't trade those memories for anything.
What would you do with $20,000?We're retired so we would save part of it but would probably treat ourselves to a nice vacation. We have visited all 50 states but would love to be able to visit them all again.
