We met Christmas day through mutual friends. New Year's Eve he proposed with, "do ya wanna?" Moved to another state to be with him. He broke up with me on Valentine's Day, the day after we bought our rings. He did however repropose a few hours later. Married in May. That was 40 years, 4 kids, and six grandkids ago!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many memories in 40 years. I don't know if I have a favorite. Besides the births of our children, a few that stand out. Our first cruise together, which doubled as a 18 year late honeymoon. Just recently, spending the weekend in an Airbnb with all of our children and grandchildren.
What would you do with $20,000?Put money down on a cute little house where we can retire with our dogs and our cat.
