Joy, support, and a whole lot of laughs—we’re the team that makes love feel easy.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met in college in 2011 but didn’t start dating until 2016. We went on a date in 2014 but Jordy wasn’t feeling it (or was very awkward as Patrick would say) so we stayed friends until 2016 where Patrick had to confront Jordy with “what are we doing?” And we finally began dating and have been together for almost 10 years now.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? This is tough, we’ve had so many in ten years but one of our favorite memories revolves around making the normal life of every day memorable. We were supposed to go on a picnic but it started to rain. While Jordy went and picked up food, Patrick turned their living room into a romantic at home picnic spot with blankets and candles and he proceeded to serenade Jordy with his guitar skills. It was the moment Jordy realized people dream of the kind of love they share.
What would you do with $20,000?Patrick recently graduated with his PhD and is still waiting for a job so we’ve been generally living pay check to check for our entire relationship. We would love to pay off our student loan debts, and go on a romantic vacation (which we’ve yet to do in our ten years). Our debts could take it all but we’d like to have at least a little bit of fun!
