I met my hubby in Trinidad and in less than a week we got married. After we got married it took 8 months before we saw each other.
We would like to thank you for supporting Paul and Sisilla in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met each other when he visited Trinidad. We started to talk the next thing we where head over heels with each other. Paul actually came to my home and ask my mom to marry me. He started to call me his "wife" before we actually go married to each other. It's so amazing that the first time I saw paul I felt as if I took my first breath of air. He is so spunky always smiling and relax. In my heart I knew it was just meant to be. It took us a long time to be together after we got married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memory is that one day, just after my birthday going to Manhattan. Paul surprised me with a Broadway tickets to see the musical "MAMA MIA" and dinner for my birthday. We walk to time square to take in the night sights. I told him " gosh it's freezing". In the middle of time square he stopped span me around and held me close he was singing to me as we dance. Well I warmed up pretty quickly. Even though I was blushing, self consciously of passersby . It was so romantic.
What would you do with $20,000?Well I would use the $20,000 on a honey moon we never had since we go married. You see after we got married in Trinidad Paul had to leave the next day to start a new job in New York. The next time I saw him was 8th months later when I got my Visa to come to America. He is a hard worker and still never took much time for vacation. Still always working but still smiling. He still makes me blush while he sings and dance with me. I would like to go on a honeymoon with the love of my life.
