In the spring of 1984 I was in our apartment studying for finals in my white sweat suit and bunny slippers when my roommates insisted I change because they set me up with one of their boyfriend’s roommate. I did not believe them until the knock on the door and their dates and my now husband was standing outside. We Went to our usual places as a group. In the car we stopped a gas station to get some beer, me just turned 21 was more than glad to oblige. Paul at this time was 18 and was shocked
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding fiasco. Paul was in training in Biloxi, MS. At rehearsal dinner I get a phone call saying he missed his flight trying to catch another, missed the rehearsal and the dinner, panic sets in. At the house everyone gathered I get another call missed the connections and may miss the wedding which 10am the next morning. Family was on the phone trying to get him a way to the wedding. Next day he arrived one hour prior to wedding dressed at airport and groomed at church. More details availab
