How did your love story begin?

We met at a bowling alley after a comical first meeting. I was in my sweats rocking the side pony, and I embarrassed myself in front of him. The next Thursday on our regular bowling night, I waved at him, and he had no clue who I was because I had real clothes on, hair fixed, and makeup on. We talked that night for quite a while and one week later, we went on our first date. Four months later, he proposed to me outside the bowling alley.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I think one of our favorite memories would be when I found out I was pregnant with our first child, and I went to where he worked to let him know. I tossed the pregnancy test and and the paperwork from the doctor on his desk. He shouted he was going to be a dad to anybody who could hear. I think the second best memory would be finding out we were pregnant with our second child, after not thinking we were going to have any more kids. God gave us a great surprise.

What would you do with $20,000?

There are two things we would probably do with $20,000. I know most people would say they would pay off bills and save some. We would go to Scotland. It’s the trip that we’ve been dreaming of our whole marriage, and then we would take our whole family on a vacation. That’s something that we’ve never been able to do. Family is everything!
