We dated as teens. Never did break up; but forced to separate. The Universe brought us back together 35 years later and righted a wrong.
We would like to thank you for supporting Patrick & Sarah in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
She was 16 & I was 19. We dated for a few months but her mom hated my guts and did such a good job of keeping us apart that we eventually just drifted apart. We never did have an official breakup. Fast forward 35 years, she searches for me on a whim and reaches out. We talked for 5 hours that first contact and it's been the most beautiful love I've felt ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Shortly after her reaching out we went to Cedar Point together. We rode all the great "date rides" and spent the day just talking and laughing and enjoying each other's company. I say this is a favorite memory but tbh, with the exception of the rides, every day is a trip to Cedar Point when we're together.
What would you do with $20,000?We're pretty responsible people so we'd probably set aside a couple thousand to take a vacation. A good chunk would go to some form of home improvement or another and (shhh it's a secret) but I'd use a small percentage of it to buy Sarah the ring that she's always dreamed of having but never got.
