How did your love story begin?

It seemed like I’d known her all my life. One Texas night. I decided I should go out. I literally bumped into my future wife that night. Apologizing profusely, she calmly turns around and said to me, “I’m not”. We talked, we laughed and we danced until the lights came on. I walked her to her car. The only two cars in the parking lot. Both cars backed in. For the next year and half. We would spend every night together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My fiancé, on our one year anniversary, proposed to me at the same venue we met. I had proposed to her earlier in Puerto Rico, on a rooftop, in front of 12 tourists who got invited. Lol! She and I had planned to share this special night with friends and family. Unbeknownst to me. She had planned a surprise for me. As we enjoyed the celebratory shots and cocktails. Live music playing in the background. Adelina came over and kneeled, ask me to marry her. Of course, I said yes.

What would you do with $20,000?

We love to travel and experience the diverse cultures of the world. So, we would travel to Puerto Rico, Spain, Cape Town, South Africa and Greece. We also love doing our part. Giving to those that are not seen in our society. The least fortunate. We donate clothing to a local family advocacy organization. So we would donate more new clothing to them. Lastly, we love to garden and give the excess to our friends, family and people who sometimes struggle. Any residual. DIY projects.
