Connect How did your love story begin?

On a frosty February night (2020), fate brought us together in a sticky Brooklyn dive bar. Will was visiting from College, Pamela guiding some out of town friends. As our eyes locked across the room, it was electric. Drawn to each other, I inched closer to make a move, I knew I HAD to interrupt Will's impending departure. When we said hello, Will introduced himself and asked to make out, an offer I simply couldn't refuse. The rest of the night is history, we were thick as thieves!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We met mere weeks before the pandemic, so as we endured the unknowing miles away (Will in Canada), Pam in NYC - we got to know each other through day long video calls, texts and calls. It was difficult and longing at times, but we persevered. When we were finally able to get over the quarantine, Will drove down 16 hours to pick me up from Brooklyn and drive back up. A month of uninterrupted time spent in each others arms, solidified our tender romance and the commitment we felt for each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

After five years, four jobs, three apartments, one cat, and the two of us, we'd invest and save a portion for a future home. Some would fund a much-needed vacation and supplies for our creative passions—Will's into lighting design, carpentry, and music production, while I love baking and illustrating. With what's left, perhaps there's room for an engagement ring and the beginning of our wedding plans. :)
