We would like to thank you for supporting Pam and JW in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in 1969 when Pam was 14 and JW was 16 by a mutual friend and “courted” for 6 months until Pam’s family moved to another state. U S mail was slow communication; JW joined the Navy and life moved on. Then in 2014 JW found Pam on FB Messenger. They met for coffee, reignited the love and got married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?As many memories we are sharing now as a reconnected couple, we enjoy reminiscing about our innocent teenage courtship. We were both smitten and as much as a 14 and 16 year old can about love, we would consider that time as true first love.
What would you do with $20,000?JW and I together have 6 children and 21 grandchildren and would want to help them. We also believe in supporting non-profit organizations like Rotary International projects and our church mission programs.
