How did your love story begin?

Begain when I was 17. I was a teen with a lots of issues. I had just got out from being locked up. While I was with friends at a community center. Pablo was driving by in his step side. Back then we're we live . At the time no out of towner could come in. So I thought he was one. And wanted to blow up his truck. But found out he was from the same town. Then I was at a party. He wanted to meet me. My brother introduced us. That was the start of us becoming best friends. Now to be married 44years

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My best memory is. The night my now husband Pablo became my Hero. Bought my grayhound tickets. So that I can go to a Christian Drug rehab women's home. He has loved me unconditionally. And stood by my side. Today I have been off drugs for 45 years. I have worked in my employment for 30yrs , we founded 2 community groups. I am currently the California Artichoke Queen. A Lowrider Roll Model #35 ( YouTube) till this day. He never left my side. He help me change my life. Hero don't always wear capes

What would you do with $20,000?

For one thing. Gather back all the Youth we ever worked with. And have a big reunion barbecue. Then go have some us time. And plan a beautiful 45th anniversary celebration. Since when we got married. We had no honeymoon. Drove 7 hours to get married. Then drove back 7 hours right back. That's another story lol. One thing I say to myself in hard times. Remember the vows. And when you stood in front of him & looked into his eyes & said I Do. Also how much in love you were at that time.
