Across a bar after a long day. Flint was cutting limes and slinging drinks and Kenzi needed a drink and moment to decompress. The evening ended with shots of rum before they went their separate ways, but it left an impression. Two weeks later Kenzi left her Facebook link on the back of a receipt and they went on a date to Socrates Sculpture Park.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Kenzi and Flint took a jewelry casting class with the idea of making each other's engagement rings. When Kenzi proposed to Flint, they went to a favourite restaurant in Williamsburg, Santa Fe BK. At the end of the meal, she asked Sam the bartender to secretly put the ring she cast and made with a special sapphire into a sopapilla as their dessert. Sopapillas are usually airy pockets of fried dough and when Flint bit the corner to add honey inside, the ring fell out! Spoiler alert: he said "yes"!
What would you do with $20,000?Start off by paying down some student loans, put a deposit down for our wedding venue for next year, and use whatever is leftover towards our honeymoon in Japan!
