Connect How did your love story begin?

In college, Lindsay and Dan’s best friends dated—now married—so they likely crossed paths often, though neither remembers. Years later, Dan bartended near Lindsay’s NYC apartment; she frequented the spot, unknowingly seeing him again. In summer 2024, she spots him on Facebook and reaches out. He thinks she’s a bot. She persists, gives her number, and he calls—turns out, their daughters are friends from school. They meet, go on a date, and days later, fall madly in love. Meant to be.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our engagement was epic. In Nov 2024, Dan was injured in a fire but insisted on proposing. At Rockefeller Center with all 4 girls, Lindsay got a guard to let them down to the rink—unaware Dan had slipped him $50 to help with the surprise. After a family pic, Dan dropped to one knee (in major pain!) and proposed. I (Lindsay) didn't think he would get back up! The crowd cheered, the girls hugged each other with tears in their eyes, and we got pro photos and video for free! OO6 Family was born!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would take our daughters on a family "honeymoon" after our wedding in 2026. We will travel to Europe/Greece/Sicily... Shared experiences enhance love and connection within our family. Exposure to new cultures, food and ways of life are vitally important for children, and our girls have never been across the pond (my 3 - O'Neills have never been outside of the US).
