How did your love story begin?

We met in 2017 while working in the physical therapy field. We instantly formed a friendship as we were drawn towards each other's energy and similar interests. In 2022, after an unforgettable trip to New York City for the 4th of July, we realized we were both rooted in family, work ethic, and faith in God. Despite a 7 year age gap, we decided to move forward with our relationship. 8 years of friendship and 3 years of dating later, we are happily engaged to be married in November of 2025.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We cherish the memories made on our trip to Athens & Santorini, Greece. This was our "big trip" before Estevan pursued his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and our first international trip as a couple. We explored the history of Athens at the Acropolis, then to Santorini with experiences including a catamaran on the Aegean Sea and an ATV ride along the black sand beach. This trip solidified our strengths in communication and flexibility further unifying us as a couple.

What would you do with $20,000?

As healthcare providers, we have worked incredibly hard throughout our lives to be where we are today. We understand the immense amount of sacrifice, commitment, and drive to be successful, and feel combining our work ethic makes us stronger together. We are ready to begin the next chapter of our lives, starting in November with our wedding. If selected, we would ensure the prize to be put toward our potential future home to build the life and family we have envisioned as the American Dream.
