We’ve been together for 10 years and each year we just grow closer and stronger together.
We would like to thank you for supporting OC in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were both in college heading into our junior year. We were working orientation and became friends immediately. We were both in the closet so no one wanted to make the first move. After a very long day of working, we decided to watch a movie and ended up falling asleep next to each other on the couch. When we woke up, we just looked at each other and I leaned in to kiss him and he kissed me back. We freaked out almost immediately and then realized that we both enjoyed it and how right it felt.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The day I proposed to him was one of the best days of our couple journey. I had told him we were going to brunch with a friend near Central Park. When we arrived, I had said the friend is running late so we ended up walking the park. I led him to an area my friends had set up with balloons and flowers and that’s where I asked him to be my husband. Afterwards, I surprised him with a party where all our friends and family had flown in to be there with us to celebrate. We were surrounded by love.
What would you do with $20,000?Have the wedding of our dreams! We’ve been lucky to have so many incredible friends throughout our relationship and we want to throw the best wedding that we can. The money will go along making our wedding dreams reality.
