How did your love story begin?

I was a college student transferring for school & work. On my 1st day at work, he was one of the last I met as we crossed paths. I was introduced to him and the biggest smile came across his face. Shortly after he came up to me & invited me to come to his place for game night. I had other plans. I didn't want to say no so I told him I couldn't this time but would love to be invited next time. He scheduled another game night the following weekend and so our love story began.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many, but probably in 2016 when we renewed our wedding vows for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was the first vacation we had been on together that was longer than a weekend without the kids. We were officially empty nesters and renewing our vows was also like starting a new chapter in our lives. We did this on the island of Kauai and spent relaxing days on beach, hiking, zip lining and just enjoying each other's company as a couple again.

What would you do with $20,000?

Even though we are empty nesters being a parent never seems to end. With the $20,000 we would take a long extended vacation as life always seems to get in the way of just enjoying time together. We want to visit some European countries or maybe take a long cruise. We are getting close to retirement age, so it would be nice if we could do something fun for ourselves. Maybe also do some home projects that have been put on the back burner. Just have fun.
