Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in fall of 2022 when we were in Highschool, we were in the lunch line and he complimented my outfit. Every time I saw him he said he liked my outfits and I realized I had a crush on him. I asked for his number at lunch one day, and ever since then we’ve been together. We then did track and field together, we graduated highschool, started our careers, and have adopted a cat. Even though we’ve been through hard times and have changed from teens to adults, we’re still in love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is rescuing our cat (who is now two years old). We found him on the side of the road, he was about as small as a hamburger. We put him in a little box with a blanket, and took the little kitten to our house. We fed him some kibble and water and thought about what to do with him. I had always wanted a cat, so we made the decision to keep him. We took him to the vet, where we learned he had an eye infection. I think taking care of him brought us together even more.

What would you do with $20,000?

Right now, me and Jason are at the point where we have almost nothing in life. We have just started our lives, so we don’t have any money to move out or go anywhere fun. The money would help us move into our first home and maybe start a family one day. At the end of the day, love isn’t about the money and I enjoy every moment I spend with Jason.
