We are each other's best friend, business partner, and confidant. We met in college and has been inseparable since then.
We would like to thank you for supporting Noodle cup and the bear in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met through online in 2010 (craiglist, before it got creepy and cringe!) where he placed an ad looking for someone to 'get lost in the city.' We met and ate Thai (his first time but did not show it!). We spent a lot of time, mostly being friends and learning about each other. One night, we spoke about how we felt about each other. It took us a month before we kissed and it felt that the slow build of the relationship helped us. We got married in 2020 and never looked back.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory is the meeting of my son and my then boyfriend now husband. My son has been apart from me due to immigration process, and watching them get close as the years went on, fills my heart with love and gratitude that I met someone who loves me and my son as his own.
What would you do with $20,000?My husband and I got married in 2020, and because of pandemic and life both as first responders and social workers, we never had a honeymoon. I would love to use the money to spend it for an amazing honeymoon and use the rest as seed money for our practice together and we can help more people in the community!
