Connect How did your love story begin?

I was sitting with friends in a dirty bar in SW Portland. I'd just flown back after buying my wedding gown, putting a deposit on the venue, booking the church and meeting with florists. But my fiancé was away for a work trip when I returned, so I decided to join some friends. In walks a gorgeous blonde who strode right over to our table. "What's the craic?" he said with a smile that knocked me sideways. And he didn't leave my side all night. The next morning,I knew we were both in trouble.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When we were dating, Noel surprised me. A taxi picked us up at 4am and when we got out, we were in a large field with around 10-15 people who were pulling fabric from the back of a trailer. I then noticed the wicker basked. My stomach dropped. I'm terrified of heights but he had no idea. Needless to say, I spent the morning in the tracker car while Noel pulled the string on a hot air balloon with two other couples. We had a gorgeous champagne brunch afterwards and still laugh about it today.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would book a family vacation! Noel and I now have four kids(!). We don't know what it's like to have consistent savings, so vacations are few and far between. It would be wonderful to show our kids where their dad and I met (the city, not the bar) before they get too cool and don't want to vacation with us! And the rest would be put away for the kids college funds.
