We met in middle school—dated briefly in 7th grade (I was obsessed, he was oblivious—brought a friend to our first date). As freshmen we reconnected, became best friends, and never looked back. I even joined cross country just to see him more. Since 2017, we’ve done everything together—laughed, partied, made fun of each other! Now we’re getting married this October. So grateful to marry my best friend.

When you grow up with someone it’s almost impossible to pick just one... If we had to choose, it would be bringing home our dog Roczee. She was one of my grandma’s show dogs and was everything to her. When my grandpa passed, he told everyone I was supposed to take care of her. Eli wasn’t sure at first, but now he couldn’t imagine life without her. She’s the perfect mix of sass and sweetness, and having her with us feels like it was always meant to be. Our little family of 4… (kitty too).

We’d use the $20,000 toward buying our first home. The place we’ll get to truly call ours as husband & wife… & someday have our kids call their home. Our dog desperately needs a yard, and our kitty deserves a ‘lil sunny library window too. After over 7 years together, we’re ready to trade renting for building a forever space. One with room for all the love (and pet hair) we’re bringing with us. (A little extra closet space for the hubby wouldn’t be too shabby either… ;))
