Connect How did your love story begin?

We had science class together our junior year and fate aka Mr.Miller assigned us as lab partners. We made plans to hang out after school, it was the winter and there was so much snow on the ground. We played in the snow like we were in elementary school. We put snow into our Gatorade bottles and called them slushies and listened to the song crimson & clover by The Shondells while laying side by side in the snow. We both knew that day that we would be together forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have countless favorite memories. A memory that has to stick out is our first camping experience. We had never gone camping before. We did lots of research of what we had to bring and how to’s. Of course we made lots of rookie mistakes. Like.. making a tray of empanada's. That a raccoon ended up stealing and taking a leap of faith that day. Literally. Jumping in 16ft water repeatedly. Not being the best swimmers. Ultimately the bugs got to us so we got a nearby hotel. Typical us.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would have a backyard wedding! We got engaged in June of 2023 and wanted to enjoy being fiancées. We started wedding planning for a backyard wedding and had our date set for September 27th 2025 but life got extra busy for us so we put it on pause. $20,000 would cover practically all our expenses.
