We have known each other for many years but connected when my engagement ended and his marriage ended. We leaned on each other through similar experiences and connected on a level that neither of us ever had. Everyone we knew started telling us how happy we both look, since becoming a couple. Our lives are basically an SNL skit, ALL THE TIME. We are hilarious together because of our outgoing personalities and creativity. Kevin thinks he outkicked his coverage, but I'm obsessed with who he is!

One of my favorite memories is when I pranked him at the bar one night. I sat at the opposite end, which is not normal. "I swung by your place", I said. "Mind explaining to me what I found in your room. On the night stand?" Everyone in the bar panned over to him. "Ohhhh", he said. "About that. I can explain." Everyone panned back to me. "That empty container of cat treats should have lasted at least 3 months", I said. "You have a serious problem and Ethel's obesity is your fault". :-P

We are buying a house within the next few months that is outdated and small, but perfect for us and his kids. We would like to update the kitchen, bathrooms, and exterior. $20,000 would definitely help with our initial costs. I've also convinced Kevin that I want the landscaping to be one of our projects together, since we binge watched Grosse Pointe Garden Society together. He's not exactly the outdoorsy type, but agreed since it would be a hobby we enjoy as a couple.
