How did your love story begin?

Julian and I met on a dating app(bumble) On February 21, 2020. We matched earlier in the day, then had some quick conversation on the app and then decided to meet up for food and drinks that night. We met at a restaurant/bar in Santa Ana California called “Chapter One” and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Since then we’ve traveled together, faced life changes and career ups and downs but through it all we’ve laughed and had fun for what feels like a lifetime.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memories are of us exploring California together. I was born and raised in SoCal and Julian’s dad was in the Army so he’s lived in quite a few places but settled in SoCal and he’s showed me so much of how beautiful California really is. From having beach days in Huntington Beach where we bbq and make s’mores (which I had never really done before) to having authentic tacos at local taquerias in Orange County. He’s taught me so much about appreciating where you are,living in the moment

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use the $20K to start our life together and pay down school debt. I’m earning my doctorate in psychology to help others find purpose, and Julian is pursuing his dream of becoming a chemist. He also has an amazing daughter and we want to show her it’s never too late to chase your dreams, love boldly, and build a meaningful future—together.
