Our love story began at age 11 in an ice rink. It truly is like a scene from the Cutting Edge movie where I was at figure skating practice right before Nick had to go on for his hockey practice. The funniest part was we grew up in different boroughs of NYC, but were skating at a rink in NJ. After senior year of high school, Nick & I had to part ways, but 6 years later fate brought us back together at an unexpected last minute Yankee game (we’re both Met fans), and it felt like time never passed.

Being together for 7 years, and knowing each other for almost 20 years, really makes it hard to pick out a favorite memory since we have so many. But one that stands out would probably be when we went on our first trip together to Chicago and we went on a date to an outdoor ice rink where the snow came down so hard. It truly brought back so many old memories that made us realize that we had our soulmate right in front of our eyes after all these years, and we had skating to thank for that.

If we won the $20,000 we would use some of it to help pay for our wedding that we are currently planning. As well as, save some of it for a future home that we want to build a family with (of little hockey and figure skaters of course). Lastly, we would love to help out our families that truly have blessed us with so much love & support through such difficult times. All of the sacrifices they made to make sure we could carry out our dreams to be skaters, actually led us to finding each other.
