Like all great modern love stories, it began on Tinder. We met in Kat’s home state, Louisiana, and moved to Nat’s home in Texas when we both finished school. One marathon first date and a COVID lockdown led to years of laughter, two unforgettable proposals, and a marriage that gets better every day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The obvious answer is our wedding day. Last October, we brought together our family and friends to celebrate our love with dinner, dancing, and even a tattoo artist! But the answer most people wouldn’t expect would be our time spent in COVID lockdown. In a time filled with uncertainty and fear, we found solace in each other, and we cherish the days we got to spend uninterrupted quality time together. These days, we try to recreate that feeling by working from home together!
What would you do with $20,000?While we love our friends and family here in Texas and feel very supported by them, we often don’t feel supported or safe in our greater community. Our dream is to move to a city that’s more affirming where we can have new adventures and build our life together. We would spend this money on our move to Brooklyn, New York!
