It all started in Summer 2023. I left a comment on The Weeknd’s Instagram, who happens to be both our favorite artist. My bf saw my comment and felt instantly drawn to me, which led him to send me a follow request. I followed back, and within the first week we were texting and talking nonstop. By Summer 2024, we finally met in person and spent the whole summer in India together. Now, just 1.5 years later, we’re under one roof in a new country together—proof that love really can beat the odds.

Our favorite shared memory is the moment we saw each other in person for the first time at the airport—It felt so magical, I swear there were sparkles! He was even more handsome in person, and he says he never imagined I could be more beautiful in real life. Hugging for the first time was even more surreal—after 9 months of long distance, we were finally together. Even the airport worker was smiling like a proud dad watching us! It was truly unforgettable.

Right now, we’re living in a new country, renting a room while slowly building a brand new life together. He’s finishing his master’s in AI, and I’m building a new business from the ground up.
