We met one another at age 15. He lived in Philly I lived in NY. We had a letter writing romance. I knew at 15 he was my soul mate.

It was August 21,1964. I was 15. It was my birthday. Fred came to the table and said" Can I have a piece of cake?" Well I thought no for me. We went to a teen dance . Another girl Marilyn was so interested in him. I said he's yours!! Well he finally asked me to dance! It was nice . Steve Lawrence and Edie Gormet were playing. I so wanted to see them. He asked both of us. I said yes right away. knowing i was not interested in him. We walked down a long hall. He took my hand. It was instant!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Wow, there are so many. By far, the birth of our 2 sons. I had a miscarriage, then came Craig! The second one was not so easy. I had an ectopic pregnancy( in the tubes). Which was life-changing. I lost one tube and had given up hope of a second child. But later came Marc. Two sons who make us proud every day of our lives. That's the best memory ever.To say nothing about our grandchildren, they are indeed the icing on the cake.
What would you do with $20,000?Great Question. We have enough!! We've taken care of our sons and grandchildren. WE would give it to the Crohn's Foundation. Research saved my husband's life with infusions. He suffered for over 76 years. Looking frail and lifeless. The other half would go to Breast Cancer. Fred's sister died of that horrible disease at age 56 Too young. Not to see her grandchildren. Helping charities is the best way to spend that money.
