We would like to thank you for supporting Nancy and Luke in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our journey began in 2016, where we were introduced through mutual friends. We quickly discovered a unique connection, each sharing our passions with the other. Luke introduced Nancy to the captivating world of cinema and film collecting, while Nancy shared the rich traditions and beauty of her Viet heritage. Our bond grew stronger and became inseparable. Together, we’ve celebrated nearly 9 year of love and growth—graduating college, advancing our careers, purchasing a home, & raising our dog.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took both of our’s first international trip together to Japan, where Luke also decided to propose in 2023. In June 2025, we got married in a Vietnamese-American fusion ceremony which both of our families participated in.
What would you do with $20,000?As a newly married couple starting our journey together, $20,000 would be an incredible gift. We’d use part of it to create lasting memories—maybe a dream honeymoon to a place neither of us has been. We’d also put some toward building our future: investing in our home, saving for a family, and maybe even starting a small creative side project together. It would be a perfect mix of joy today and security for tomorrow.
