We met through mutual friends at a party in Berkeley. But what's really funny is how we unknowingly crossed eachothers paths multiple times before we officially met. There's even a picture on Facebook of Justin with another person, and I'm standing in the background, oblivious to the fact that my soulmate was standing behind me, a couple of years before we met. True serendipity, we always caveat our love story with, "but we're the exception to the rule!"
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Walking around Barcelona and finding a really delicious tapas restaurant off of the Rambla. We were both starving and cranky, and all of the food catered to tourists, and we wanted Real comida Catalana. And so we walked off into one of the many corridors and found the most incredible spot, Gats. We returned a couple of more times there and recommend it to all of our friends who go. Definitely one of our cherished memories.
What would you do with $20,000?Use it as a down payment for a condominium. We've built a beautiful life and home together, but home ownership has eluded us. But with a prize like that we could combine it with what we've saved and buy ourselves something that could only continue to support and add stability to our happiness and love.
