Married in ‘76, split for 20 yrs. Reconciled, remarried, had brain bleed, heart probs, debilitating stroke & more but our luv stays strong
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met while working at ITT Tech automotive school; I worked in finance and Jim as an instructor. At our first intro, he winked and did a weird “hiya baby” and I thought “loser”. Months later, we were planning a school dance together & I consented to one last dance before it ended. We both felt a jolt of electricity when our hands touched; magical. We dated, got engaged after 6 mos & planned to marry a year later. My mom was dying of cancer at 43, so we moved up the date; she passed 2 mos later
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Divorced after 2 yrs, we had 20 yrs with no contact, living in different states. Jim came back to Boston for work & thought he’d drive by my Nana’s home before his flight to FL.Sitting in a rental car, lamenting why I divorced him so many years ago, the door opened, I walked out, got in my car & drove off.He checked census files & saw that I was listed with 3 kids, no husband. He wrote a note on his laptop, put it in my Nana’s mailbox & flew home.I read note & called to say no to mtg. Luv won❤️
What would you do with $20,000?I would take our 4 grown kids (no children with each other), their spouses, and our 6 beautiful grandchildren, ages 6 to 15 on a family cruise to be together. I just want to keep making beautiful memories together, for as long as we can.❤️
