We would like to thank you for supporting Mykayla and Steven in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met unexpectedly one night on our ways home. Spontaneously bumping into one another. And instantly we clicked, like we’d known each other our entire lives. Conversations flew effortlessly. Nights out turned into mornings in together. Dates became sleepovers. And it was pretty clear neither of us were going anywhere. We’ve been inseparable since that very first day. We got engaged weeks after. We moved in together a few months after and we are now expecting our first child together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory we share together is how we started off with nothing and have built all that we have together. In such a short time we managed to overcome survival and struggle in order to thrive and live life how we desired. It’s the little moments all compounded and the meaningful memories all collected that we share, that we love.
What would you do with $20,000?With the $20,000.00 we would save, invest and build. We would save for our daughter, we would invest for our family’s future both personal and professional endeavors and expenses, and we would build starting with a home for us and the baby, a car and get both our small businesses going. We’d also donate a small portion to WCK to help with feeding people and families affected from the California fires.
