How did your love story begin?

Our love story begin at an open mic. I came to support a friend. He was the opening act performing.... comedy. After the show, I approached him wanting to ask about one of his jokes. He thought I was a fan; I thought his joke could use some work. The conversation was short lived and we went our separate ways. But as phones do, he ended up in each other's "People you may know" section. Eventually, we accepted each other on Facebook and the rest is history!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The weekend we spent in Carter Mountain. The pandemic had uprooted our lives a bit and I had lost 3 family members within a week. I needed to breathe, relax, and heal so he took me to the mountains. Not only was it healing for my broken heart, it would be the start of our next great adventure. As we drove down the mountain, Mu Cuzzo looked at me and said "You know you're pregnant, right?" I laughed him off but he was right! No, we didn't name our kid Carter but that mountain changed our lives!

What would you do with $20,000?

Our son is a literal miracle born 7 weeks early & only 3 pounds. He's also my rainbow baby. The money would be spent giving our son a great life and more opportunities! Everyone jokes as to whether he'll be a poet like me or comedian like dad but honestly, we just want him to have the chance to be whoever he wants to be. There are things have made life so hard but the money would ease some of those burdens & set him up for success. He's a great kid, Khaleef! He deserves the world!
