It was our first day of training as student workers at our alma mater. I was nervous as I was new in town and didn’t have many friends yet. I spotted Caleb sitting at a table across the room and approached him, asking if I could join him. We became the best of friends throughout that summer and one year later, I asked him out on a date. I made a cheesy card asking him to ‘be my player two,’ complete with cutout photos of memes. Thankfully, he accepted and we went on our first date on August 12,
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It was a clear night during the summer of 2023. Chetana and I were on a boat tour for our first vacation together. I saved for 3 years to take her on this trip and I had a big surprise waiting for her. I took her onto the deck of the boat and proposed underneath the stars. I fumbled over my words at first, accidentally asking her to make me the ‘happiest wife’. She understood the sentiment and ecstatically said yes! We were wed in a beautiful Hindu ceremony on October 5th, 2024.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to be able to put a downpayment on a home, a place to call our own. Something with a little bit of land where our two dogs, Bandit and Wynston, could run freely. We're dreaming of a place we could eventually raise our children and begin a small homestead.
