We worked summer school for students with special needs & on orientation day we piqued each other’s interest right away! Ryan’s job on the Student Support Team was to de-escalate situations & after helping me in the class several times to calm a student down in his gentle & caring way, I realized he was more than just a handsome face! There was an instant connection & over time we realized this was the real thing. I introduced him to my daughter and it’s been true love ever since!

Our favorite memory is getting to experience the birth of our youngest daughter. Ryan was already an amazing step-dad to our daughter for 6 years, but we always had a dream to expand our family. When we learned we were pregnant, we were on cloud 9! Fast forward to Feb 2024, we welcomed our baby girl after a lot of hard work (and a few pushes) and she has been a blessing to our whole family!

Since we are both teachers, first & foremost, we would be THRILLED to be able to give a scholarship to a student in our school district. Being in this profession is how we met & it would mean the world to us to give back to the community that’s given us so much. Additionally, we would treat ourselves to our first vacation as a family of 4. We work hard everyday, including our teenage daughter who gets good grades and dances full time. We deserve quality time together to connect as a family!
