My husband worked at a gas station in Cordell, Ok. Every morning I would come in on my way to Burnsflatt to get a pop and gum. He would say, good morning sunshine! I was not a morning person. One morning I was in line to pay wearing my Sooner parka. A very wealthy farmer was standing behind me, he said I would sooner be a cowboy. I turned around and flipped him off and said f… the cowboys. My husband said from that moment he knew I was women he was going to marry.He says time stood still.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first ski trip. I had never been, Bryan had gone a dozen times with his parents. We started at the top of the mountain. With 12 kids from church. 6 of those kids were under 5 and we were all holding hands down the bunny slop. The we took a wrong turn and ended up on the black diamond. Bryan was shocked to see me and the 5 kids bolting down the mountain holding hands and praying for our lives the whole ride down.
What would you do with $20,000?We would go on a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary.We have always wanted to take a wonderful trip just the two of us.
