We met 7 years ago at a brewery in town. Tom was the head brewer there. I needed a second job to pay for my dog's $15k double knee replacement. Tom says he flirted with me for 3 yrs but all I saw was a genuine, truly kind man who was a ray of light. I did think 'what if' for those 3 yrs but I was overworked stress ball working FT + Sat/Sun server job and my cake business. Covid hit w/perspective and I made a move on him! We've been inseparable since!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date is one of many favorite memories for us. We hadn't seen each other in over a yr because of Covid. The move I made was asking if he wanted to piggy back off a cupcake order I was working on (he'd always buy cupcakes for fundraisers I did over the yrs). He asked me out for a bday beer. It was like making up for lost time. We both put everything out there; values, hopes, - it all aligned perfectly. It confirmed that timing is everything, that we are perfect for each other.
What would you do with $20,000?We would donate $2,000 to some of the local non-profits that we volunteer with and we would use the rest towards building our forever home.
