Our love story began 17 years ago when we met through my then high school boyfriend. We were casual friends for about a year and then became very close during the summer I was 17, and have since been each others’ best friend. There were times we had feelings for one another, but it was never the right time. We always remained steadfast in our commitment to having the other in our life, even living together for 7 years before deciding to be together. Through all seasons of life we have remained.

Our favorite memory we’ve shared as a couple so far (besides all the times of uncontrollable laughter) was our one year anniversary. Albert was so nervous after planning an elaborate date and I (Molly) was ecstatic with all the surprises. Albert is the best listener and knows me so well. We started by seeing the Bison in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and had dinner on the water in the Embarcadero as the sun went down and a group of over 100 runners jaunted past us (we love people watching).

$20,000 may not sound like life changing money for some, but for us it could be the start to our dream of having our own home (even a fixer-upper!). We would this money on a downpayment for a home where we can create more memories in and fill with love and a family (and rescue animals!). We dream of having space with enough room to help rescue cats and dogs, especially those who have been living in shelters for extended periods of time without adoption interest.
