We met when I was hired as a vet tech for his mobile petting zoo—by his wife! She started to crush on me, we briefly dated, but it wasn’t a match. After their split, I reached out during a tough time, and our late-night talks turned into a deep friendship. That friendship grew into love. Now we’re business partners, co-parents, and totally inseparable. It started awkward—but became something beautifully unexpected. It was definitely the most awkward relationship start ever.

Our favorite memory is our spontaneous two-week trip to Italy. We road-tripped from Florence to Venice to Pompeii, exploring ancient ruins, art, and hidden gems along the way. Pompeii took our breath away—it was surreal walking through history together. We didn’t make it to the islands, but that just gives us the perfect reason to go back. It was the adventure of a lifetime.

If we win, we’d finally have our dream wedding in Joshua Tree, California—and fly our families out to be there. Mine rarely travel outside Missouri, so it would mean the world to share that moment with them. After the wedding, we’d head to southern Italy to finish the honeymoon trip we started—creating even more unforgettable memories together. Please vote for us.
