Samantha had just moved to Montreal from small town Iowa for school and signed up for Bumble to meet new people. Moe, on an exchange semester, matched with her and they talked all night agreeing to hike Mont Royal the next morning. From there they were inseparable for the next two months until he needed to return to France. The two have been on and off long distance since 2021 and take any chance to see each other they can.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For Samantha’s 21st birthday, she returned home to her apartment and had just settled on the couch when Mohamed texts her that he sent her flowers for her birthday and that it was almost to her door. When she opened it however, she discovered Mohamed had flown from Paris to Montreal for just a long weekend as a surprise (and it is very difficult to surprise Samantha) her for her birthday.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off Samantha’s school debt and use what is left to assist with finally moving in together next summer
