We met at a bar on 11/11/11. I had a table by the door, and as she was leaving, I asked her to dance and join us. She asked my name, and I joked, “Michael Jordan.” She didn’t believe me and demanded to see my ID—so I showed her (it really is my name). We laughed, exchanged numbers, and that moment changed everything. The rest, as they say, is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our trip to Spain was a disaster—flights delayed, canceled, even an emergency landing after someone died mid-air. When we finally arrived, our luggage was lost for days. We wore ill-fitting clothes from friends and even got pickpocketed. But through it all, we laughed, explored, and soaked it in together. Not once did we stop enjoying each other. That’s when I knew—I didn’t just have a travel buddy, I had a true partner for life.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20K, I’d finally take my wife to Italy—a honeymoon we never got to have. We’d wander through Rome, eat pasta in Tuscany, and watch sunsets on the Amalfi Coast. After everything we’ve been through together, it would be the perfect way to celebrate our love and create the memories we missed the first time around.
