Connect How did your love story begin?

I was in college at the University of Kentucky and several of my friends I had made when arriving to college was in his sister sorority. He would frequently come through our dorm because we had the KFC in our food court on the first floor of our dorm, which was the only one on campus. I was talking to one of his sorority sisters who was one of the resident advisors of the dorm, she was working the front desk and he walks in and saw me and that’s where the flirtation began!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

How we found out I was pregnant with our 1st kid, Julius. We decided to go to an amusement park. we’re walking around having fun as we do, then we decide to get on the drop zone ride. When I got off of it, I am sicker than I’ve ever been. He thought I was just being dramatic so he's joking me & a few days after the trip we found out I’m pregnant with our first son. It was hilarious & that kid loves wild rides lol!

What would you do with $20,000?

We will buy all new furniture for our bedroom, living room & new nice stuff for our kitchen. After having five kids & married this long all the things you had while raising kids have taken quite the beating. It will be so nice to refresh everything with stuff that has not been damaged/lost while raising kids. Now this is when you need a wedding registry 25/30 yrs later after all your stuff has been messed up by the kids. If your marriage last this long, your friends should give you a refresh!
