Connect How did your love story begin?

Funnily enough, they wouldn’t know each other if it wasn’t for Missy’s ex. Missy met her then-BF’s bestfriend’s new GF, Zoe. They hit it off & became good friends. Both couples split, but Missy & Zoe stayed friends. After helping each other through breakups, Zoe introduced Missy to Joey, a friend from high school. Joey pulled out all the stops on the 1st weekend of meeting: showed off his vintage Chevy Blazer, personally taxied her to and from LI by boat, planned a Wicked Bway 1st date to come.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Joey says his favorite memory together is the Yankees game for our second time meeting with friends. (He didn’t know Missy was a hardcore Mets fan before buying the tickets.) Anyways, at the top of the fifth Missy held his hand & told him “You should kiss me,” & although it was only a first kiss, Joey felt he hit a homerun. Missy loved spending time in Curacao together snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, lounging. They learned so much about each other & their infinite compatibility.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 they would plan to give away at least a quarter of it to a charity or cause of their choosing. The rest of it would go towards either buying a house or a trip. They’ve been dreaming of seeing the 7 wonders of the world together (although Joey claims Missy is all 7 herself) so maybe they would check a few off the list!
